The heavy-duty and weather-resistant umbrella base is made of HDPE plastic, designed to withstand impact and constant movement, and treated with a weather and UV-resistant coating. The sturdy 4-plate design features four square-shaped weight plates that are engineered to fit snugly in a cantilever umbrella cross base, with interconnecting pins to lock the umbrella base in place and secure it for hours (Note: Crossbar base is not included).
Each weight plate is equipped with an easy-to-fill spout and a twist cap, creating a water-tight seal that allows for quick and easy refilling, cleaning, and storage. The high weight capacity of the base allows it to be filled with up to 176 lbs of water or 132 lbs of sand, providing a solid anchor for offset umbrellas and protecting them from incidental damage caused by falls and harsh weather.
The handle design on the plates enables easy movement after the ballast has been emptied. The dimensions of each plate are 19.7"(L) x 19.7"(W) x 3"(H).
